Debra Walker, Principal has twenty-two years experience in interior architecture, Design and decoration of residential homes as well as public lobbies, private clubs, hotels, corporate offices and retail spaces. Her education and extensive travel experience provided a strong foundation for study in fine arts. after receiving an MBA, she merged her talents into a successful interior design practice. She has worked frequently with architectural firms and developers in a collaborative effort on new construction and major renovations.

A certified interior designer, member of IIDS and a highly respected professional, Debra Walker has completed commissioned projects throughout California; and in the mid-west, Florida, Hawaii and in Mexico, Japan, France and Switzerland.

Offering a wide range of professional design services marked by careful thoughtful planning, walker design associates employ a fresh, creative approach with special concern for detail. Direct personal attention is given, tailoring services for the specific needs, interests and expression of each client.

‘staging’ programs are available for marketing purposes for developers, realtors and individuals. Walker also has a ‘Design in a Day’ service utilizing a homeowners own furnishings and accessories.

An underlying environment of calm serenity bleeds through layers of whimsy and fancy adding details to delight the senses. Interior environments become an expression and enhancement of an individual’s own interior soul drawing from their personal reflections. Walker gives this expression life using state of the art resources and often bringing to light unknown dimensions within the imagination.

In a public environment beauty is expressed through scale, form, line, proportion using color and texture and light to create functional yet delightful interior space.
